ICF Bengaluru Chapter became a ‘CHARTER CHAPTER’ on 09 December 2015 – The agreement was signed in the presence of ICF Global Leaders in Bangalore.

WHY ICF BENGALURU

ICF Bengaluru Chapter is the local chapter of International Coach Federation (ICF).
The Chapter seeks to advance the art, science and practice of professional coaching in Bengaluru and
surrounding areas. ICF Bengaluru Chapter is a registered not-for-profit Society.

INTERNATIONAL COACH FEDERATION

ICF is the leading global organization dedicated to advancing the coaching profession by setting high standards, providing independent certification and building a worldwide network of trained coaching professionals. As the world’s largest organization of professionally trained coaches, ICF confers instant credibility upon its members. ICF offers the only globally recognized, independent credentialing program for coach practitioners. ICF’s core purpose is to lead global advancement of the coaching profession. ICF currently has more than 28,000 members and 17,000 credentialed Coaches across more than 130 countries around the world.

ICF Credentials are awarded to professional coaches who have met stringent education and experience requirements and have demonstrated a thorough understanding of the coaching competencies that set the standard in the profession. Achieving credentials through ICF signifies a coach’s commitment to integrity, understanding and mastery of coaching skills, and dedication to clients.

ICF is a non‐profit individual membership organization formed by professionals worldwide who practice, teach or research coaching. ICF has taken the lead in developing a definition and philosophy of coaching, as well as in establishing ethical standards among its members. Through its own Code of Ethics, Ethical Conduct Review Process, Program Complaint Process and Independent Review Board (IRB), ICF sets professional coaching standards while also giving consumers a venue to file ethics complaints about ICF Members, ICF Credential‐holders or ICF‐approved training programs.
